Before you start

System Requirements

The minimum system requirements for this software is an IBM AS/400 with at least 3 Megabytes of free disk space. The operating system must be OS/400 release V3R2 or greater. The RPG compiler (IBM ® Licensed product "5738-RG1" or "5763-RG1").

What you need

Downloaded AS/400 ® Software using the appropriate connection type:
- DOS (139 KB)
- Windows 3.x (237 KB)
- Windows 95/NT (Compiled using Shared Folders) (390 KB)
- Windows 95/NT (Compiled using TCP/IP) (964 KB)
- Windows 95/NT (Restored using TCP/IP) (1,630 KB)

Installation

Installing the Utilities

To install the utilities simply execute the file downloaded and follow the instructions that will appear in the Setup wizard. Ensure that you are attached by PC to the target AS/400 ® and have the Shared Folders mapped.

After the setup wizard installs the files to the shared folder, follow the instructions in the README.TXT file to copy, compile, and run the install programs and commands.

TIP: Cut and Paste each command from the text file onto the AS/400 ® command line.
